Sessoms & Sons Jewelers officially opened in beautiful Fort Mill, SC on March 1, 2016. But the story & history goes back nearly 60 years! We specialize in repairs & custom jewelry.

Sherman Sessoms graduated from Spencer Watchmaking School in 1961. From there he went straight to work in Rock Hill, SC working on his bench inside Smith's Drug Store under the name Sessoms Watch Repair. After nearly 40 years, in various locations in Rock Hill, he made the move to a small space inside what was then Fort Mill Jewelers (later Springcrest Jewelers and now Sessoms & Sons Jewelers). Sherman Sessoms recently celebrated his retirement in December of 2018 after 59 years serving Fort Mill & Rock Hill, SC!

Dusty Goddard (Sherman Sessoms grandson-in-law) started changing watch batteries after high school in 2003 in Gastonia, NC. He quickly went to work for small jeweler in Pineville, NC where he apprenticed as a bench jeweler for 9 years. Dusty is the bench jeweler, performs all repairs on-premises & brings over 16 years of experience to the store. He purchased the old Springcrest Jewelers and partnered with his grandfather-in-law to officially launch Sessoms & Sons Jewelers!
